COUTURE
In the past, the garments I've create have been specifically crafted and individually designed for the client, they are made to measure and are a one of a kind. Each piece, a unique design just like an original painting.
I've worked with the finest quality of pure silks, magnificent lace and the most exquisite lush’s fabrics you could ever imagine. I love the process of adding beads, peals, sequences and applique to give each outfit its distinct signature.
From Wedding Dresses to dance costumes, sewing has been in my blood from both sides of the family.
I have an auntie, my father's sister, who is an incredibly talented seamstress and very experienced pattern making in the industry in Athens, Greece and my grandfather, my mother’s father was the Tailor of the town in a small village near Sparta. When my two uncles moved to Australia, they carried on the family trade here in Sydney.
It’s been a dream, to create a Designer Range with my art printed on the fabric, hopefully creating a small line of ready to wear designer garments. I've had some of my art printed on fabric in the past which was amazing to see, creating silk scarfs and some personal outfits, just experimenting.
Here are a few images, showcasing some of the pieces I've created in the past.
